Sansa Stark

This is my entry for the Darksword contest over at WAMP. I decided to put Sansa in a winter scene because of how it works with the beginning of the books, but I also felt that having her standing alone in the cold fit the character really well for everything she goes through.

I put the tree together from some sticks from my backyard- it came out really well; you can't even see where I used green stuff to cover the joints. The decorative lining of her outer cloak was hard because I couldn't decide on a good color scheme at first, but once I put the green on the leaves between the flowers it all started to come together.

Hi Cregan, you've done a really nice job on the mini, the pattern fringing the cloak has come out particularly nicely.

I don't like that tree at all though. Sorry. Too chunky & too dominating. Take it off, rotate the mini 180 degrees to show off that nice drop in the base and it'll look smashing :D

Good luck in the comp. :good:

Cheers, B.

The tree definitely is important with regards to Sansa's background at the beginning of the story, but as is it dominates the diorama instead of bringing the attention to it. Mind you, it may well be different in real life, but that's how it is photographed anyway. Good luck for the competition!

Lose or change the tree, it detracts from the mini. (smaller of thinner tree maybe).
Love the shades of blue on the clothes.
