Sardar the Pure in a twist :)

Hi all

This Iron Painter thing is keeping me pretty busy with mini painting (which is a good thing or my brushes would be sitting catching dust I reckon :D)

Anyway, here\'s my entry from the latest round.

Sardar the Pure with some additional sculpting with GS and obligatory magical osl stuff.

Looks like you have good brush skills, though I am not personally a fan of the way the black and blue work together.

Looks pretty good.

Out of curiosity, where exactly is the OSL coming from? I only ask because it seems like if it\'s coming from the gem on top of the staff (since it\'s the same color)shouldn\'t there be more of it on his face? Of course, if it\'s coming from the bottom, then right on!

Great work. Voted.

I see it is coming from the bottom... the staff is just there... the light is coming actually from all the swirl of magic skulls.... at least that is what I think ???

That\'s what I thought, but I saw that the gem is the same color. Just made me wonder is all.

No probs... it\'s not always easy to make out what\'s what (despite it seeming clear to the painter lol) :D

Great work. Got my vote.

I do think that it might be wise to change the colour of the gem on the staff though to avoid the very OLS questions you see popping up here.

Fantastic job indeed. Its amazing that you keep somehow raising the bar with each of your IRON PAINTER entries. This one is your best, IMHO....and it was my Wife\'s favorite of the current round...(mine too...)

Cheers SV! :D

It was almost a case of no entry at all... I did this in two days I think, in between an extremely laborious quote I was putting together for work and another painting (canvas)... Glad I managed it though :)

Iron Painter has been a great comp so far!

It sure has! I\'m actually pretty amazed at the general level of the entries despite the short time frame and all.
