That kind of Photoshop\'ing I don\'t mind.
Didn\'t really \"click\" on what it was when approving comments. But a good piece of subtle humour none the less.

Well, the suit may be able to bend the light, thus rendering the wearer practically invisible. However, it wouldn\'t be able to do anything about a shadow since the wearer is still a solid object.

Or....

It\'s just funnier this way.

Any energy field, material or device that made things invisible by \"bending light around them\" would make the object\'s shadow disappear proportionately to the degree they were invisible. After all, a shadow is just the absence of light which is blocked by an object. For example a \"Predator\" under full cloak would still cast a faint shadow similar to the shadow cast by thin smoke (because the cloak does not make it 100% invisible).

A usually-unanticipated side-effect of such a device would be that in addition to being invisible the wearer would also be blind, unless of course their eyes were still visible. This would explain why in Predator, the alien\'s glowing eyes would sometimes be visible even when it was under cloak (an otherwise serious tactical shortcoming).

And thats why on the damn game (Aliens vs Predator), the army fellas can still see you if you have the cloak on and they \'happen\' to look in your direction!

Cool base though!

if you bend the light, then how can there be a shadow? I mean, a shhadow can only exist if there is a light coming from the opposite way, right? if the light is bended around the objektive, then surely there would be no shadow?

cool Idea though

I also got a kick out of that the base is flat but the figure in the shadow is standing on an rock. So the rock is ALSO invisible ...and has feet.

I was waiting to see what kind of nerdy debate this would start. Way to go Vike! I love this site.:D

Seriously though saw this article earlier this year: LINK

I liked it. And it could be directional invisibility, so someone standing in the direction the light was coming from might be able to see him. Yeah. So ha. think you\'re so smart, you naysaying naysayers!
