They are a little different than other paints and dry super flat. I love the metallics more than any other company I have tried and tomorrow I will be playing with their inks!

there are very few "bad" paints, I dont think its a waste of money. If you have paints already and you like them, its only curiosity and word of mouth that makes you want more. Im at the stage where I have a mixture of citerdel, vallejo and P3 all are good for a certain purpose. P3 I find better for 2 brush blending, Vallejo can do most things well, Cit base tones, and dont like to be watered down as much as vallejo. Until I run out of a few colours Im holding my $ till I need some. . . . excpt for the $10 new paint range you can find on the forum as a tester.

All in all I doubt they are a waste and are just as good or better for somethings.

This ^^^ The only time I am trying new paint ranges these days is to replace an old color as I run out or in the GW case: as they dry out in their pots -_- Its my only complaint with that range.

yeah, I'm starting to run low across the board. I might just pick up a few of the basic colours and try them out, the super matt finish is the appealing factor and I've heard amazing good things about there metallic paints.

I'll properly pick up the steel set and test that

One thing I'll never replace is the GW shades, they are very good :)
