Scale of miniatures

Hello all.

I know that the warhammer miniatures are 28mm scale, but what scale is that in a fraction (ie. 1/35 etc.). I can not find out anywhere, and i want my scenery to be the right scale.

Also, does anyone know the same for GW LOTR models?

Well, GW Fantasy and 40K is around 1/65th scale. Not real sure about the LOTR stuff, but I believe those are a bit smaller.
