=][= scale ork

I\'m thinking of trying my hand at the Inquisitor range, But after looking at the range for only 2 mins I found myself wondering how I can convert an ork out of it all. Not being either rich or willing to fail in such a costly experiment, I\'m looking for suggestions.

My ideas where:

a) go with an ork in mega armour using the Krash model (the one with the big claw arms) arms, and a converted tyrus body.

or

b) go with the normal ork look by converting one of the mutant models.

i would sugest..

Theres a couple of things... you could get one of the blood bowl orges(the new ones( theres on that is standing up ), and go from there, or even hit other mini manufactrues for base models. The is a world outside of GW.... I just got around to looking and stuff looks pretty good to me.

I\'ve seen the Ogryn thin done before, and it looks very nice. Maybe this body (or a different one, your choice):

and Ghazghkull\'s head:

Plus, add other Orky glyphs and gubbins as you please!

different ideas...

You could sculpt your own.....

Like this guy did

Sure, that doesn\'t help too much, being just a giant orc, but I thought that thing was awfully cool...

Or as a \"base model\" to start with for the =][= scale, and if you weren\'t limiting this to GW products, I would check out

Their orcs and ogres are enormous when compared to a regular 28mm fig. I\'d have to say they are pretty close to the scale you\'d want.

You\'d still have to do some major conversion, but it would be a nice place to start....

back from the dead...

Yup, they went out of business, but have been revived here in the states by a company called \"The Tin Dictator\"

The entire range is available, and it looks like even some new stuff is on the horizon.

Maybe there is still hope for IKORE!
