I like the resin 1/6 or the busts the best still struggle with the small ones 54mm is comfortable as well.
I put down 54mm, it gives a lot more space to really get the the details looking just how you\'d like them. Althought I agree that the 28 scale is nice because you can hide mistakes or rather hide those places you don\'t want to have to take the extra time to push to do the best.

I chose 28-32mm as my favorite. Same reasons as EricJ. I do love spending a lot of time with a good 54mm historic though. LOts of swoopy details.

my preference is 54mm+. i just like working on bigger things.
You know when I first started painting minis ... which were called figs back then ... in the early 80\'s they were mostly 22mm-28mm. Since I\'ve takenup the brish I\'ve been doing mostly 28mm-35mm. When I first realized that the minis were all slightly larger these days I was quite happy. I\'m not sure I would like to paint them much larger, because there are more problems associated with larger scale.

I went for 54. I\'m usually torn between 54 and 28. 28 is easier, but 53mm is a greater acheivemrnt. A good job on a 54mm piece can take it\'s own shelf in the cabinet. 28mm minis need to be painted in squads imo.

i love them all! i have a 1/6th in the works and i even like the tiny tiny ones, like the reaper familiars

i prefer 28mm ish stuff (as long as it\'s closeish i don\'t care) also love doing the odd 50mm as a change of pace

Just because I\'m used to painting that scale! I don\'t \"hide\" things that are difficult or such, but rather try to paint everything as good as possible, even if it won\'t be visible. I know I have painted it and that is what counts for me...

Not fair I want to vote for all...
I voted 10mm because that is the scale I have done most in recently but I have also done 15, 25, 30 54, 90 and have a few 1/6th to do as well.
I find the break in scale every now and then is refreshing and it keeps the skills on there toes not that I have that much in the way of skills but I\'m getting there.

I voted for the 28-32 mm scale...cause is the scale I use to paint..

I really like the bigger minis (aren\'t I oxy moronic!) like the ones in the Dark Age line, the human Saint Mary is about 35mm and the average Dragyri is 50-60mm (supposed to be 7\'+ in RL). I think I just like having the extra room to work with. I really don\'t like the tiny minis like the CMON Mantis Assassin. Too hard on my old eyes I think one of my absolute favorites I ever did was my Forgeworld Asurman resin- not real big, but not tiny.. a perfect fit for my hand!
