scariest line from film or book

just out of interest, what the scariest line youve ever read/ seen in a film/ etc?
mine probabaly goes to Brisngr\'s shade.

\"Our name is Varaug,\" said the shade. \"Fear us.\"

Not a film or book (but if ever there was a candidate to be made into one this is up there), an old game called Realms of the Haunting used to scare the crap out of me. Right at the start of the game, before you\'ve even found any monsters yet, you walk into a room and a typewrtier starts typing on it\'s own. The sheet says the phrase \"We live...\" over and over again. at the bottom of the page are the lines:

If you believe in the spirit,
If you believe in the soul,
And if you have a God,
Pray for them...

Ha! I still think the Mitichlorians is scarier yet.

I don\'t know about scary, but the entire book \"The Road\" by Cormac McCarthy is bleak as all hell.

Pretty creepy on it\'s own but read the verses preceding and following it and you see who really\'s wearing the pants.

6 Seeing Jesus from a distance, he ran up and bowed down before Him; 7 and shouting with a loud voice, he said, “What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Definately true. But on it\'s own I find it creepy.

It\'s actually it\'s only mark 5:9. Don\'t know why it said mark 5:8-10.

Mine has to be:

Doesn\'t seem scary on it\'s own but when combined with the legendary acting from ledger it becomes very grim indeed
