Actually, speaking of scary clicking sounds, one of the monsters in Thief: Teh Dark Project made these weird clicking noises that terrified me, for some reason. A couple of years later I watched Princess Mononoke, which has those lil white forest spirits that make EXACTLY the same noise and scared me all over again!
Incidentally, my vote for overal scariest computer game level (of games I\'ve played, obviously) is The Cradle in Thief 3. Complete and utter headtrip, especially when played at three in the morning. I was riveted and (sounds disgusting) I could smell the fear when I was done.

Its from PREDATOR II... Yeah creepy
