Scibor miniature quality

Hey everyone, I'm very close to pulling the trigger on one of the miniatures offered by Scibor; specifically the dwarf general standard on warbear. Does anyone have any feedback on the casting quality of some of his miniatures?

Castings we've received are almost universally very good, very sharp edged and detailed. SMM also seldom makes mistakes on internal component packing etc, I do not recall a complaint about this line of the top of my head.

castings have been good for me but the sculpts are often rough and seem rushed. gaps which should have been filled, aren't and while some bits are nicely done, a lot are a bit rubbish. it's a shame as he does some lovely stuff

no real probs with the minos, though. i have bought one and it's his best piece i have bought

dshavers, you are a seriously a prudent consumer!!

I think the last time I saw you around, you were wondering about the quality of the Knight Models.

Good for you, I've not got the patience like that, and I've been burned enough to where you'd think I'd learn!

HAHA well trust me it takes paitence. I too have been burned enough know to do a little research before I buy, which unfortunatetly ends up with me still buying. I usually don't fret about anything around 20-25 dollars but when I'm paying upwards to 50+ for a miniature I believe it should be something of fairly decent quality.

the minotaur ive painted had horrible mouldlines! otherwise, not that bad quality. some airbubbles but nothing serious.

Yeah that's the one thing that scares me about spending this much on a miniature, just to have a ton of moldlines, some that during cleaning could possibly ruin the detail or model.
