Scorpion Marine Army

I like the idea of doing a scorpion based marine army, Forgeworld continue to expand the range of Red Scorpion mini\'s and the new dreadnought and Vanguard models are very nice.

However,

I hate the Red Scorpion colour scheme, so i need suggestions and ideas for

1. A Name for a scorpion based marine chapter.

2. A colour scheme that will work well with those mini\'s

Since Scorpions glow under Ultra Violet light, why not call them \"Jade Scorpions\" and use a Blue Green accent colour on a dark background.

What colour scheme do you want your scorpions to be then it gives an idea of a possible name for the chapter.

The simplistic ones would be \'colour\' scorpions, i seem to like black scorpions or silver scorpions, duno why.

Then others depending on the sort of background you want, someone mentioned scorpions of dorn, kinda bein a imperial fist successor chapter.

BUt that could say scorpions of macragge, imperial scorpions all sorts of stuff like that

Lot\'s of interesting things you can do with those forge world items, I too am basing a new army on the red scorpions but I am going with the simple name of Blue Scorpions

in well with background fluff \"the mutated scorpions on Baal...\") so has links with a blood angels chapter then you could use a blood angels / fleshtearers like colourscheme?

I dunno why but to me \"Blue Scorpions\" sounds like a sleazy 1980s hair-metal band.^^

But since I´m very into 80s metal, I would totally support that.

\"Black Scorpions\" would be nice.
(They are more like Venom, whilst the \"Blue Scorpions\" are more the Skid Row/ Warrant kind of guys...)
They could wear plain black armour as scorpions usually are all black.

I don´t know what you don´t like about their sceme... i´m not very fond of their yellow shoulder pads.

On the other hand something desert-themed in bright brown and khakie could turn out nicely.
The \"Silver Scorpions\" live on a tatooinesque planet and are named after the large predatorial arachnoids they hunt to prove their bravery.

I like the color option, putting Black or Jade in front both sound way cool.
The others I don\'t like.

Or take inspiration from a zoological name for a scorp, something like... hadrurus arizonensis pallidus?

Or, how about ... Sons of Arachnida?
