Scott vs AoW Goblin Hero

Hey, I\'m painting up this fig for my army. Cool model, and I am trying the purple wash tech out on the skin. Below are the pic\'s. I would call it the skin done but am happy for more tips.

I started with some catachan green equivalent with about 1/4 of hormagaunt purple. I brought the color up a little bit by doing two layers of the same mix brightened a couple times with VGC desert yellow. I then washed it with Thraka Green, Highlighted with the Catachan/Purple/Yellow mix then washed it with Liche Purple. Added a little bleached bone and washed it with the purple again. Highlighted again with straight desert yellow then added a little bleached bone to the mix and highlighted the nose/cheeks/thighs and veins on the left arm. Straight bleach bone onto the veins and the side of the face and legs that will catch the light.

Thoughts so far?

looks good scott, very original idea, like the desrt yellow tone. myaber add a little space wolf grey to the bone as well, still ,looking great

I think it looks good, but I would make a little more work on the face since its the point people will notice first, and its a really nice head to experiment with too =)

I really like the skin tone, but i feel some more purple wash and a bit more highlights would make it pop a bit more! Also when the teeth comes along it will look a little brighter but i would really like to see some more stuff done to the face!

The eyes I personally feel would look cool if they were reeeeeeaally dark! Give it some dots of white just to show the glossyness of the eyes! Would really look awesome!

I like the overall look on the model, but pay a little extra attention on the faces of the models, and spend a bit more highlights and glazes to it =)

The details you did on the vein really makes it look sooo much better then if you just would highlight everything the same!

You got an eye for details! The mini is looking sharp! AoW makes crazy looking models, much more dark and sinister then the GW models, they seem to cartoony these days...
