Here\'s the first for my team...

I\'m pretty happy with how some of the color blending turned out. a step up for me I think. Advice so far has been...

-Highlight the skin more
-Vary the metal colors more

And I\'ll take that into the rest of the team.

Thanks!

Nice. I like Blood Bowl too. I Have the Nun team from Shadow Forge, and Ogre team (GW), a Goblin team and a wood elf team.

Hey, thanks guys! So far not doing great in the scoring dept. but I\'m happy with it, I learned something from it, and the next ones will be better.

Thanks again for the comments amigo\'s! I\'d love to see some more Blood Bowl stuff around here. I found this to be a great \"relaxation\" piece. Hard to take a fig for this game real serious, if that makes any sense.

It is just me, but I am having a hard time imagining orcs (orks?) in white pads...

Ha, yeah. I maybe coulda tried some weathering to beat them up a little more but I wanted to spend this project focusing on my blending and some of the basic techniques before I take on some more challenging techniques.

The actual red/white scheme is from the old days of blood bowl and the big Orc team was the \"Gouged Eye\" and this was their scheme. I really wanted to do something original, or even base it off an existing NFL team but I just sort of drew a blank, and ripped off someone elses idea.

Thanks guys! Regardless of the score of the model I think it was an enormous step up in the learning curve. Some of the blends came off okay, and it\'s a clear to me looking at the finished result I acheived that I was really just layering before rathering then trying to work on blending.

edit- Thanks for the comments Backstabbeth!
I\'m not calling it an 8+ performance or anything, but I am pleased enough with the model to be optimistic about the process. Happy times! There\'s not very much metal on the model (Thank Christ!) but I think it turned out better as well. It was about 4hrs start to finish and I am looking forward to the rest. Polished off a Blitzer yesterday afternoon so It\'s going well. Fun times!
