Okay so this looks pretty plain to me right now. Near finished but anybody got anything to help me out? Either in paint choices or technique criticsism welcome.

I paint my thumb.
I like the skintones and the beard. Metallics is still the point that let\'s it down. Maybe use another color (Like bronze) for the little mask thingies would break the monotony.

I would say to paint some of the armor in flat acrylics. For example, paint the main body of the helmet (the part that touches the head) red, for a nice warm tone to counter the cool colors of the metals and beard. Darken the skin a bit, via a light wash or some glazing, paint the eyes, paint the face-tokens on his pole in a brass or gold scheme, and paint the wristguard on the hammer hand (and the other one, too if he has one) red as well. The red parts can easily be interchanges for another color, if you so choose.
