Although what the Scots get up to behind that damn wall of theirs is anyone\'s guess???
I have heard tell that the ability to repel midges is as important as taste in Scottish ales, I don\'t know whether they drink it, or rub it on....
Perhaps Rab will be along shortly to enlighten us:flip:
It\'s not our wall, the Romans built it, funnily enough, Antonine\'s wall runs right through my town. The Romans got here, took one look at the place and said \"That\'s far enough\".
Dunno Finn, the worst of the midges are in the western highlands, down here the primary purpose of beer is to get drunk

Besides, what are the odds of a scotsman doing anything with beer other than drinking it?

That\'s \'cause the water here\'s lovely, not that nasty lime saturated muck you get down south
As to the original question, I\'ve only ever had the Arran Blonde which was nice, quite light, almost like German beer but with a more hops type flavour. I dare say if you like heavy beers you\'d probably like the Arran Dark.
