as i have asked your advice in the past regarding mixing gs and fimo, i have had a go and shall report my findings

i have so far only used a 60:40 mix of fimo:gs. once mixed, it is quite soft and rubbery (very much like bubble gum). after a bit (30mins to an hour) it is easier to push around. it took mine about a day to fully cure and when it had done, it was a little bit more rubbery than normal gs. i imagine it could be left like this.

however, i wanted to see what i could do with it so i put it in the oven like normal fimo. after i removed it (and burnt myself!:flame:) and let it cool, it had a similar texture to gs and milliput mix.

to sum up - it\'s quite a good combo, depending on what you want to do with it. hope you guys found that info helpful!!

Does it shrink after curing. Ive heard some good stuff about fimo but if it changes size (as Ive heard) then I might give it a miss.

it seems to shrink a little. the pure fimo i used had a couple of very small cracks in it. but i was using a big piece of pure fimo for that. never had problems with normal 28mm pieces. the mix didn\'t seem to shrink - no cracks were visible anyway here are front and back pics of what i have done so far. bear in mind he still needs a little tidying up!
