Sculpting nurgle belly

Hi there. Here is something I sculpted couple of days ago. The idea was to make somekind of a swollen nurglesque (is that a word?) belly.

I just picked that broken old SM torse to woks as my test piece. For I\'m planning to convert one of those Chaos space marine commanders. GW doesn\'t have quite somy nurgle models, so I have to do it myself.

So I would really appreciate your comments and I was also hoping to get some pieces of advice how to improve that. If have allready decided to add more pox marks or abscesses. Not to this one, but when I\'m working that Chaos lord\'s belly.

Hre are original pictures. I just painted it quickly:

..and here is edited picture:

So if you cuold at least tell me which one is better. That in pics 1-3 or the one in pic 4?

Hope thats not too silly, but if you think it is, then please tell me how to improve it...Or if I should seriously consider some other ways to convert my Chaos lord than sculpting :D .

Personaly I don\'t think that this is so bad, but on the other hand I may be only one who thinks that way.

it looks just fine. did you take inspiration from the new Nurgle Demon Prince? you might want to tuck some of that nasty skin under the chest plate though.

Looking fine so far but difficult to tell without legs etc to see how bulges. It looks slightly too folded at the moment rather than bugy.

Lets see the whole thing and I think it should all come together then

Cheers

I agree with the above the folds need to go under the armour or a little bit of armour sculpted over the fleshy bits would be good.
The colours look great btw.

Everyone\'s right, it is very hard to tell...

I do think you have too many folds going on... for a belly that small, it just seems a bit busy. Besides whats wrong with a nice smooth glistening belly about to burst, right???

Second, I think the belly will be too tiny when attaching the torso to the legs. I may be wrong, but from my past SM chop up jobs, I just feel that the belly will look more like a tummy.
But hey, until the legs are on, I\'ll never be able to tell for sure!
