Origineel geplaatst door Capt spaldingI think that Tammy is in contact with dragonsreach, cos of her e-bay auctions?
I just contacted Mike and he\'ll check with Tammy soon.

Does anybody know Orb\'s nickname over at planet figure by any chance?

I\'ve put Matt Varnish on the case{*} and a message has gone out to Orb, (at least I hope it\'s the right person ) to contact Minimaker.

Hi,

I just got a message from Mike (thanks) that Tammy is sorry and that she can\'t join in right now even though she\'d love to. She\'s doing 24/7 painting to make ends meet right now.

Now let\'s hope we get a reaction from Orb so we now what going on, otherwise I\'d say, let\'s wait one week (wednesday) and then redistribute tasks.

Hi,

no reply of Orb, so let\'s just go forward. I\'d suggest the following tasks:

1.green stuff - France - making/posing the armature and freezing the joints.
2.minimaker - Netherlands - weapons
3.waxfive - UK - torso and head
4.Medved - UK - wings
5.Itchy - US - trousers+shoes
6.Xavier - US - left arm + lower end jacket?
9.Trevor - Australia - equipment (pouches, etc, ...)/mechanical right arm

I\'ll start on it this week-end. Should I make her taller? It seemed to me last round people found her too small.

I don\'t mind if she\'s taller or not. Can you leave the armatures long at the arm this time? We can always make them shorter when we get to them.

Mine were just a number of pose sketches and details on the weapons and wings.
Weapons (will be an assault rifle and a pistol):

Suggestions on pose and support.

cheers guys. a least i know the task at hand now. i have just got some brownstuff but to be honest it feels exactly like greenstuff and doesn\'t seem to be that different once dry. should i try mixing it with milliput to get a hard edge for those wings (i take it no plasticard to be used).....i have some of the white milliput.

I prefer using a Milliput/green stuff mix myself. Brown stuff become hard too but the colour makes seeing details less easy. I mostly use it for details.

Right, so I\'ll get starting on the guns again then. Glad I made the moulds last time.

Any comments or requests now you\'ve seen what I made last time?

Can I make the arm a seperate piece?

It looks to me like the right arm will have to be seperate, but then I know nothing about casting.

If I can then if someone can give me rough dimensions for the arm (shoulder to elbow to wrist to fingertip and rough diameter), I can make a start on it.

Hi,

I\'m not sure whether or not the arm needs to be separate. It could be done in one piece actually. I would not start making it till you\'ve got the rest of the sculpt. I think there is a good chance there will be some scale creep on the way so you\'d risk some problems there.

As to casting, I recently discussed a few things over at Jenova\'s forum that could be usefull: Somewhere on this page: http://www.jenova.dk/forum/index.php?topic=1557.15

Sounds good.

BTW do you think we can come up with an ETA for each section.

3 days should be fine for me. I usally only sculpt during lunch time at work.

I\'m really sorry, but I\'ve been quite busy this week-end and so couldn\'t do what I had planned. I\'ll try to get it done during the week.
