Sculpting putty question: Magic Sculp vs ProCreate

@ALL-

FREEZING HAS WORKED SO FAR!
I left it in the freezer overnight and most of the day. When I tried to peel away the cardboard it just popped right off. I hope this is going to be a good sign for the future. I haven\'t actually tried to sculpt with it, but it looks very promising. I may have to retract half of my statements.

They should really tell you to freeze it the first time in the instructions.

I\'ll let you all know how it goes sometime soon... I hope... (Has anyone seen the movie, \"The Stuff\"?) ;)

EDIT: Well, everything didn\'t go according to plan. I tried sculpting a standard head and found that once the putty warmed up it became very sticky again (worse than GS!). I wonder if I didn\'t get a bum batch or something. It\'s only a few bucks and not really worth the hassle of contacting the manufacturer. I\'ll try this Magic sculpt stuff and see what happens there.

I tried ProCreate when it first came out, but I was put off by a stickiness problem. I don\'t recall finding it especially sticky once the two parts were mixed together. The problem I had was pulling off the equivalent to yellow in GS part and mixing it with the other left such a sticky residue on my fingers that it made it hard to handle the mixed putty and put it where I want, and just generally irritated me. I haven\'t heard anyone else mention this problem, so I guess I should go back to it and give it another try.

I know what you mean, I used to hate that problem with Milliput; it\'s one of the things that made me want to look for an alternative. BTW if you mix without gloves you should always wash your hands thoroughly after mixing putty anyway, even if there\'s no visible residue.
