I need help with how to sculpt waves and flames for a couple of elemental bases. Any good tutorials or suggestions.

Curves, curves and more curves.
(i)Superglue down balls of freshly mixed greenstuff then tease-out strands using pointed tweezers.
(ii)Leave to cure (upside-down for flames...stick to the underside of a shelf or desk with Blu-tack/Poster putty).
(iii)Repeat, building gradually to desired shape and size.
(iv)Trim from above the work (preferably with a curved nail clippers) to desired effect.

all of the GW tutorial was good advise... except the painting... those colors look HORRIBLE for flame... just troll around CMoN, there\'s plenty of well painted flame up on this site.
here\'s one from Rachel... but she is a Gold Deamon painter, so best to practice before it starts looking easy
