@ darkart: thanks chap, I\'m still thinking of ways that we can sort out your lecturer

o.k. the trooper is finished and can now be known by his propper name Pvt Leben , once I have the images aproved I will post the linkage
now on to the next one......
in the meantime here\'s a little teaser of another piece that I am working on:
all I am saying at the moment is 1/8th, etched brass gyroscope and stuff, and finished by september.

Hi Tony,
The biggest things that stand out are the anatomy and the armor plates. The anatomy is a matter of familiarity as mush as it is a sculpting issue. I recommend this book:

Cheap, lots of the usual diagrams, plus more practical application on how the muscles change shape as they move. Good stuff.
The armor plates are an easy fix. They can be scraped and trimmed with an exacto or filed to shape. An easier way to do it is to use plasticard or pieces of plastic tube instead of trying to sculpt them.
