Plaits I can do. I dont plait but I twist two thin snakes of green stuff. After they have set a bit I then go over the twists to make individual hairs. Dont go over board tho 2 or 5 hair per twist should do. Looking good so far.

Hi and welcome Asteriks.
That looks pretty good for an orc. The proportions look good and theres plenty detail.
I would concentrate on tidyness. Things like the mail links being regular and the same size. Armour plates being symetrical.

Everybody\'s stuff looks great! I wanted to toss something out there I\'ve currently got \"corked up\". The inspiration is Gabriel from the Constantine flick and will be \"loosley\" based on that design.

I made a little press mold to crank out the feathers for the wings. They won\'t be anywhere as large as in the screen cap though, just for logistics.

Not a WIP anymore, but here\'s my latest... it\'s a commision, so that\'s why i didn\'t post pics as i did it, but i do have a lot of pictures of it at different stages if anyone\'s interested.

nurgle bust?

i know this is a little late but can anyone tell me wat the guy making the nurgle bust on page 6 was using to make it (the pink skin colour lookin stuff)

Hi Stradinator.

The pink stuff would be a polymer clay. eg FIMO
, SCULPEY.
That stuff stays soft until it is baked in an oven to harden it.......hence the blackened look of the first pic.

We are the Tick! Yes, I used Super Sculpey! Wondeful stuff, and relatively cheap too. Sadly, the burn happened when I jumbled the Fahrenheit/Celsius. It\'d been so long since sculpting, it never occurred to me that it was just too hot. Ah well - never again!

This is a practice dwarf I have done. I might get around to casting him depending on how the skeleton fares.
