Looking good Cedric. Will it be a bust or full figure and what scale. The concept looks good.

I havnt done much over the hols myself but will get something sorted soon.

@Mark : It\'ll be a buste. With the \"rock\" base it\'s about 9cm tall. The orc is roughly 5.5cm high. I\'m glad you like it . Right now, I\'m trying to figure a way to do the chainmail in one go before the GS cures.

It\'s what happens when a cube of resin meets a mad frenchman\'s hammer . I got the idea from Scott a while ago. It\'s the quickest base I\'ve ever made, but my kitchen was a mess even after vaccuming; I kept finding little bits of resin days after (but now it\'s OK ). I\'d suggest doing this elsewhere, and having safety gogles and a breathing mask.

@Tim : If you can, try using latex gloves. I can see a few fingerprints (but only on the fleshing up parts, not on the pants ).

Otherwise, bear with me, I know the skull sucks, but it\'ll help later for the face :

@Mark : I\'ll think about the stamp, but for the moment I think I\'ll still do it in one go. Since I\'ll be adding a cape to the initial design, it should make less work .

This might not work at that scale but for chainmail, take some strands of necklace chain (get it from any craftstore) and press into the putty. It looks extrordenarorly real!!
