SCULPTOR NEEDED!!

Ive pushed numbers around and this is my final price, i would be able to start in august.

Unpainted, $650
Painted, $800

Here is a pic of an IG im working on based on concept, it should give you an idea of the standard i would be working at.

you should send a msg to Degra.
he makes awesome sculpts and he has said that he\'ll sculpt figs for something around 300-500€

and damn he\'s good, just posted some breathtaking pieces on english confrontation forum

You might be able to contact the pros and see if they\'re interested. You could probably get a full sculpt for less than 500.

he\'s from france if i remember correctly, and 1€ is something like 1,2$ though can\'t remember the correct value on USDs :D

One point to note though is that if someone does sculpt this for you and you pay them to do it then you are committing IP theft.

Something to think about.

Couldnt you just change on little detail and nullify that?

I believe its intellectual proporty, in other words, i stole their idea.

I think though, if i so much as change a servos philips screw driver to a flat head, it becomes a different creation, and the concept is refered to as \"inspiration\"

So its probably no biggy.

No you\'re not. Many areas have laws that permit up to a certain number of derivitive creations based on established IP. Some specify that each must be hand-made (no castings), but regardless there is nothing illegal about having a one of a kind custom sculpt made.

The prices you\'ve been quoted are ridiculous. At least half of the figure could be made using existing GW parts. $600+ or so would be reasonable for a full sculpt by an established top-tier sculptor considering the detail, but there\'s really no need with GW\'s catalogue of parts at your disposal. And no, I\'m not volunteering. Sorry, no time.

I doubt you could get it to the correct proportions, GW parts dont lend themselves to minis that look anything like the concept they crank out.
