Hi all
Just been admiring some of the work on this site and thought I would say hello as I sculpted some of it! For instance, I made the Warmachine Thunderhead and Ghordsson Driller. I also made a number of models for Urban Mammoth, including the Executioner and Pacifier as well as beasties like the Broodmaster and many of the Koralon. It's great to see the incredible paint jobs and conversions that you guys have done. Along with all the other minis from other companies and other sculptors.

All the best

Welcome to the forums! I think it's fair to say people get just as much pleasure from painting your sculpts as you do seeing them painted ;)

I'm a big fan of the Urban Mammoth stuff.

What did you like sculpting better...Mechanicals or Organics, and why so?

Hey Supervike
Good question. I deffinitely feel more comfortable with mechanical or structural things. I've always been good at interpreting technical drawings so it is easier for me to see them in three dimesnions. I see organic stuff as inherently more complex. We are so sensitive to the proportions of living things that if they are not spot on they just look wrong.

Also I started out carving plaster, producing scenery for roleplaying games with companies like Fantasy Forge and Grendel Productions. I developed a great range of techniques for working with plaster and only moved on to 'squidgy' modelling materials when I absolutely had to. It was only when I discovered 'green-stuff' that I realised how other sculptors got the results they did. It's amazing the way even the tiniest bits will hold together, never breaking up or dissolving.

Maybe if I had started with green-stuff in the first place I might have veered more towards organics.
