searching for 15mm pirates, help needed

Hi all,

I just started a new (long term) project. In short i\'m going to change columbus\' ship \"Pinta\" into a pirate ship. It\'s a 1:75 scale plastic kit ship.

Now i will also need men to crew it. 15mm figs would do well. I need some 15mm pirates (and possibly stuff like a cannon), preferably charcterfull, all different and with enough detailing to paint up nicely.

Peter Pigs ones seem nice enough (only know them from an online picture). But the site is very unclear and as far as I found out they don\'t accept paypal. Which makes ordering from them directly impossible for me.

Anyone know a online store which does accept paypal that I can order them from? Or maybe other 15mm pirate ranges I can order? I want about 10-20 different pirates.

Shame we didn\'t think of this at Crisis. That was a more likely place to find such figures. Perhaps you should ask the guys in Delft about where they buy their figures. They are more into historical stuff.

Don\'t know if this is much help, but there are a couple of lots of 15mm scale pirate cannony things on eBay:


For the pirates, seems your easiest option would be to get someone to order them who doesn\'t need to use PayPal and then get them to send it to you.

I could give it a go myself - I live in the UK which should make it easier. The whole operation of the site seems very low-tech, mailing them a cheque for Christ\'s sake! lol PM me if you\'d like me to order them etc., and then you could pay me through PayPal if it all works out

*edit* after more searching on eBay, it looks like the Peter Pig Pirates have been sold on there from time to time. You could keep a look out there
