Oh the shame!

I am a proper rock/metal chick (Meatloaf, G\'n\'R, Fear Factory, Disturbed, Godsmack and so on) so this is hard to admit.........

I had the entire Celine Dion collection, every CD she has ever realeased even the french ones.

I swear subliminal messaging!!

I listen mostly to electronic and industrial stuff, but (and I already confessed this elsewhere in this forum) I also have a soft spot for Roxy Music. I even like some of the 80s stuff like \"Avalon\".

Yes but that was just due to the album covers.

Never really liked Bryan Ferry, he\'s from my neck of the woods and I always thought he was \"Right up himself\".

Oh and to add another name to the list from the NorthEast:-
John Miles - \"Music was my first love\" etc, etc..

Mason Williams - \"Glassical Gas\" was always a favourite of mine as well, Not a song but still great music.

airhead

Coffin Dodger / Keymaster
Queensryche is coming! at the end of October. Gotta go.

Lady Wore Black
Take Hold of the Flame
Mindcrime (all of it)

Hey, it\'s a catchy song. I downloaded it as soon as I read your post, and am enjoying it right now.

Glad to be of service NSA :)

I guess it\'s the Jim Steinman influence - I\'m a big fan of \'Bat Out Of Hell\' - over nine minutes of rock-opera goodness...

what? you couldn\'t tell from looking at his picture and the way he posts on the forum that he is a rabid Barbra Streisand fan? It does kind of catch as unexpected doesn\'t it?

ELO, REO Speedwagon, and the cover of 99 red balloons from gran tursimo 3

And all of us who were ashamed to say we like Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the heart - appear to be in good company.

Oh, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra

I love Rock and Roll - Joan Jett
Hit Me with Your Best Shot - Pat Benatar

I thought this was music you were ashamed that you owned, not solid stuff that will last the test of time.

Having said that,

\"Goody Two Shoes\" by Adam and the Ants

Anything Joan Jett did rocks the party!
*edit* Or Pat Benatar, for that matter!

Another of mine is John Denver - Thank God I\'m a Country Boy...which I\'m not, but it\'s a fun song to sing along to. :)

I prefer John Denvers \"Rocky Mountian High\",
\"Love is a Battlefield\" (& \"My Clone sleeps alone\") by Pat Benatar
And most stuff by Joan Jett is Ok but not always my C.o.T.
What about \"Renaissance\" Lead singer Anne Haslam is from Bolton originally.
