Golf, it\'s such a great game. One day I need to learn how to really play it. In the tournament where I was playing one had to pick up the ball once one got twice the par score. I only had to do that a few times before I reached the green. Several times I managed to get exactly twice par. Once I got one under twice par. Did I mention I really need to learn how to play this game?

But probably not so much fun!lol

Fun is 28 people (Americans) crammed into a Nissan 28 passenger bus towing a trailer drag racing another similar bus towing a trailer through the streets of Sharja and Dubai in the UAE at 0 Dark 30 in the morning - oh, and the driver was an Indian, I think - but the common belief in the UAE is God will protect the driver.

Egypt is pretty dirty. Even the things that never left my suitcase got dirty. The pollution i Cairo is horrific!

Anyway, taking a taxi in Cairo is a real adventure. If you manage to survive, you\'ll get a lot of fun!lol
Egypt is a slum nothing is built by them...they are proud of the fact that they have American and British Universities, German, French, American and British Hospitals, The British Dam, The British and American Museums and not forgetting the Pyramids themselves - They may have been built for their kings but they were not built by them but by the slaves...and even a trip around the Pyramids will highlight they just want to milk it for the money and otherwise treat it like a rubbish tip. Light show is still worth watching though :)

As for the taxi ride, nah if you really want to take your life into your own hands take a little trip to Ho Chi Ming City (Siagong) now that is a real experience :D It may be all bikes and motorbikes with very few cars or lorries but there are no rules other than sound the bell or horn to let the person in front know you are there regardless of how long that may be for and crossing the road is even more fun...you just wait for a very small gap and then step out, looking straight ahead don\'t look left or right just straight ahead and walk very slowly...they will avoid you lollol boy does that go against everything I was taught about road safety as a child and takes a lot of getting used to.

Ah-ha! A chance to show everyone what I look like, tempered by the fact that I loathe having my picture taken. Well, here are a couple of the least awful. :)

That is definitely tempting fate. It\'s like the joke where the woman drowns and says\"Why didn\'t you save me?\"... and God says \"Hey, I sent you a guy with a rope, a boat and a helicopter, what more did you want?\"
