Selling on E-Bay

Well for the last couple days I\'ve been playing around with the idea of selling some of my Empire stuff that I\'m not using in my army. I plan on selling 24 handgunners (2 units of 12), a cannon, a mortar, and three crewman (so crew for one warmachine, possibly a second crew but I\'m not sure I have the bits for it). Now I\'ve never sold on ebay so I\'m not sure the best way to go about it. I figure painted models will sell best, but with Empire theres so many paint schemes it makes it difficult to choose. I figure I could go with Nuln and say that since thats where the cannons/mortars/handguns are made thats where the regiment is from, or travelling/on loan from, etc. And finally I don\'t know what a good starting price would be. Should I set it for about what it would cost to buy? Half what it costs to buy? More than what it costs to buy? I realise the quality of the paint job will make a difference in what I can get for it but I\'m confident I can do a pretty good job on it. So I\'d like to hear your thoughts and comments. Thanks.

If you are confident ...then start at .99-9.99 this is the lowest price entry for listing and making sure to have a gallery seems important.
Do a search and tick off completed listings box in the side bar menu... then you can see what has sold in the army type you have how much and get an idea of the demand
Make sure to have a very clean spiffy listing It is huge in the price and bids you acquire especially if you are new to the scene I tested this with the TAB account started a listing with a plain entry and changed 2 days before end date to HTML worked up one I did not get bids until that could be a coincidence though but it looked more professional.
Good luck, ship carefully and quick and you will have it made for future sales as well.

First, Do you have an Ebay rating over 10?
If not, then bid and win 10 separate auctions ( separate sellers who will give you good feedback, since you will pay immediately to establish your ebay reliability ) ( you can use magic cards, beanie babies, Gw minis, anything that is cheap and you can win, Use Buy it now auctions if you can find them.)
Without some ebay rating, you will get much less than you deserve. Then research your item by checking Completed Listings. Then you should have an idea what they are worth and what you can get for them.

If you do say pro painted in the title, Always start by saying painted to a pro level, not that you are a pro. Oh, and use the CMON auction page, it can be a big help.

Having a good feedback is important. But your going to have to build a following.Theres so many painters now selling on ebay you have to sort through the bad to find the good..thats why terms like pro painted do you no good anymore.

Id suggest in every auction you insert something like emo or EPG at the end of the title so people will see those initials and know its you.
