Hello everyone, finally picking up the brushes again, after a much needed break. What better way to get going than with this wonderful bust. So far applied basic basecoat with a little shadowing and highlighting and basic weathering. I've started working on the shoulderpad details, and I'm kind of stuck on some possible choices. I've decided to go with orange for the right shoulderpad, but not sure i'm digging it. I have a couple of possible choices.
1. Stick with the orange, and add a white or light blue/turquoise stripe
2. Replace the orange with a blue/turquoise stripe
What i have planned for the rest of the mini, is on the left shoulder pad going with a white stripe or skull type insignia. Borrowing MassiveVoodoo's idea of the painting one of the front chest piecies a solid color, and adding some other small decals, that are too small to be painting.
The overall mini right now is a greytone, but planning on adding some oil filters to alter the tone a bit. Here are some photos..
