So its finally drawn it self to TV here in the UK. I can only be talking of course of BattleStar Galactica series 4. I\'m told this will be the final series!!!!

Question is, is there anyone out there that loves this series as much as I do? Whether from the UK / US or where ever! I wanna know if you will be watching this, what you have loved about the new transition from the old 70\'s version to the more up to date darker series.
Also I know this has been on the Net when released in the US, but I\'d rather wait till its on Sky HD and enjoy the series to the fullest than watch on my PC monitor. So if anyone has seen it, PLEASE don\'t go and say whats happened at the end of the new series!!

I missed too many episodes to be able to keep track, so stopped watching.
I\'m just going to buy the DVD\'s when the whole thing\'s released.

Is it season 4? I thought that it was only 3. Starbucks back, Lee isn\'t a pilot, and the toasters are having a bit of a civil war. That\'s the right season, right?

I really don\'t wanna give a lot away from season 3, but the end of the last one was when they saw a sun going super nova (or around that line) when they see the Cylons Bay stars not far from them so they deployed their fighters and where getting ready for the toasters was about to attack when Lee hears StarBuck on his ear piece, she tells him that she\'s found the way to earth.
I can\'t say much more cause I don\'t wanna give anything away to people who\'ve not seen the other seasons.

I don\'t know if it\'ll work for yall, but it has the new episodes a day after they come out.

I refuse to pay $60 for cable for the Sci-Fi channel just to watch two shows. Battlestar Galactica and Doctor Who.

Edit: For some reason the fourth season episodes are listed as episodes 3&4, but according to the Sci Fi Channel they are in fact episodes 1&2.

Battlestar Galatica is just about the best darn show on TV. Certainly the best Sci-fi Drama I\'ve ever seen.

I\'ve been watching in via netflix though, and am halfway through season 3.

I\'ve seen the mini-series and one episode. I abso-frakkin\'-lutely hated it. I cannot understand at all how anyone can bear watching it - and I\'m a huge fan of science fiction. The SFX were OK, but the characters and stories made no sense at all, and the plot holes made it a candidate for MST3000.

My wife also tried watching it. She likes soap operas more than I, so she was able to hang with it a bit longer. In the end, though, she too had to say, \"bag it, this is ridiculous.\"

Spot on.

Absolutely brilliant reworking. Proof that remakes can be done well and even improved upon if done intelligently.

Hmm...It\'s weird. I heard another very negative review about the miniseries and such. Had it been for Stargate SGwhatever I\'da probably been apt to agree. But I simply cannot understand the plot holes you are talking about. The story seems coherent, well thought out, and perfectly executed.

I\'ve yet to find a character I didn\'t enjoy.

To each their own, but I gotta wonder if we are watching the same show?

I had one or two issues with the third series - didn\'t stop me from loving it, but there were definitely too many \'standalone\' episodes that didn\'t expand the main plotlines or further the overall story.

I guess this is an attempt to help the part-time or occasional viewer and might not be as much of an issue when episodes are a week apart. I just buy the series\' on DVD and watch them back to back most of the time, so it was pretty noticeable. Hopefully this last series will really rip into the story.

Well, like I said, I watched the mini-series and was not impressed. A friend convinced me to watch another episode, and I was still not impressed. I could elaborate, but that\'d be too much like trolling, and I\'m not into that. Some other website, I\'d go for it, but not here. Suffice it to say, I just did not like it - it wasn\'t my \"thang.\"
