After months of not really wanting to do any painting, the itch came back, and I thought it high time I painted up one of my own figures 
. He's a character from Ricardo Delgado's 'Hieroglyph' comic, and I'll be forever in R's debt that he allowed me to make him. Well, when I say 'me', I mean Allan Carrasco for sculpting him, and me for painting him up. I kind of threw my usual painting style out the window, and just did a little experimenting with various pastels and inks to see what I could come up with. After a little while, I got the effect I wanted - an almost 'oily' sheen to his cloak, which (I hope) works quite well. Hope you like him.
