I don\'t like the standing on the shell idea though, but I\'ve never liked miniatures where the characters seems to live in a shell.
I don\'t know if she is supposed to be good or evil, but maybe some fangs, little ones that don\'t stand out too much, showing from her top lip just to add a bit of menace to the character.
Talion lol yeah shes got the sex appeal for sure..I have to agree about the shell it distracts from the piece somewhat..sort of like a evil version of the artwork..Venus I think it is where shes standing in the seashell..so if we did do it the shell would be optional..so it could be more like a regular miniature or vignette /diorama style
Mrteal i think nudes will allways sell for the fact that well the first is ovious..and that they are a challenge to paint then say some with just hands and faced exposed..and the larger the harder and more lifelike it needs to be..if you have ever attempted 54mm or larger you know what i mean

I well agree the legs are too developed above the knee for a female. I figure the artist liked the muscle if it goes well developed her butt needs to match that build up IMHO.

I will also step out bravely for me, to say in most user posts unless there is a allotment of time in between the posts you use the @ before the name you are responding to and a space in between each new person thus avoiding multiple posts...a forum peeve for some It is also harder to read and rather lengthly. I won\'t mention the post padding that could be referred to lol
If you need to cut and copy the names and that maybe why you open and start a new post for each personal response you can hold the control button down and press the N at the same time and that will open a new window right on the page you are on then you can copy and paste the name for your use.

Tab yeah i have to agree on the posts I dont think unless theres a quote then a answer its a bit annoying..and too lengthy..ok thanks I know she will come out grand once made whomever gets the assignment..possibly jason wiebe or tom mason or jeff grace..im not sure..look for a major annoucement from us in feb/march. hopefully when one of our deals comes through

Yeah.... I know this is abusing the subject.... But the 8 or so posts in a row were mildly annoying. As far as your artwork is concerned, I like the idea. Some suggestions and criticisms I have are, I agree that the legs are too developed, the breasts are a wee bit big, and the standing in a shell thing looks weird. When it comes to the sculpting of this piece I would suggest using Slaanesh Daemonettes as a reference... They have a similar physical build and have the long thick \"hair\".

epstudios i think we may have someone based on the comment you made..do you know hatuset one of the sculptors here?..i think we may use them they did some slaneesh that are very spot on to anything gw has made..so its a possibility..

I like the miniature. But the Medusa was a hideous woman with snakes for hair and would turn mortals to stone. This is a beautiful girl with tentacles for hair that would only make one part of the anatomy \'turn to stone\'. And only in males. Maybe you guys should come up with a new name.

Definately MY kind of mini, just make the Seashell base a seperate piece to make everyone happy. I like the Testicle... errrr... I mean Tentacle hair, great looking concept all-in-all.
