My initial reaction was \"Well what to say?\" as there is nothing really wrong with this mini. It is basically a good tabletop figure.

But as I looked a little longer at it I could see that there are some things I could suggest for \"improvement\".

The skintone on the arms looks a little blotchy , this can happen when painting over Black primer. (Stripped enough minis to know that !) Try painting the skintones over an painted on undercoat of Bestial Brown this will give a better tonal cast to the skin and reduce the heaviness of the primer coming through on the thinner coats.

You\'ve given the figure a very dark feel as befits an assassin, but the leap from Black to Red on the tunic is very pronounced. Perthaps if you\'d used a very thin wash of a dark red this would have reduced the starkness and given you a more smoother transition.
(You could try a mixture of Scab red, Scorched Brown & a tiny touch of Chaos Black mixed together to get a very dark red.)

The metals are Ok, but if you want to improve them a little try a visit to Jakob Nielsen\'s site where there is a great tutorial on painting metalics.

Anyhow as I said this is a good stable tabletop miniature and will look great in a Dark Elf army.

I agree with Dragonsreach.
I like his face fleshtones although you might try to go even darker with the shadow areas of the skin.
I really like the purple highlights on his cape. It looks very dark.
