Another of my GDLA07 entries, this one ended up with bronze in a tough tough 40k single category. Went for something of a different look for tau, a little more feet on the ground gett\'n dirty look, just for fun

A very nice paint job for sure, with a good, subtle and realistic aproach.

There is something missing from it though, that keeps it away from the level of many of your other models, but I\'m struggling to put my finger on exactly what it is. It may perhaps be that it\'s too balanced and needs more emphasis put on the face by giving it a little extra contrast to the rest of the figure.

Really liking this look for Tau though, but perhaps a bit too alternative for top honours a GW comp?
