I used the search function but couldn\'t find an answer,

My mother in law is a sharpe and hornblower fan, and I\'m wondering if anybody knows of any mini sculpts either of the characters or good stand ins I could obtain?

thanks in advance

One of the historic manufacturers does a bust that would fit in quite well, can\'t remember which one but Tab Studio here on coolmini painted one up a few years ago Here\'s the link It might have been Andrea or Pegaso but then it could have equally been one of the others. If you are in the UK then Historex Agents would be a good place to start your search for it.

just check out andrea, they rip off loads of tv/film stuff by calling it something else.

pegaso are better quality with superb customer service so i would try them first.

general 30mm historicals are usualy aimed at gamers and not that great to be honest (no offence to the sculpters and manufacturers but your way behing on the fantasy and large scale sculpters)
andreas 30mm napoleonic line is cracking (but expensive) quality, same with their romans.

righto,

didn\'t find much directly via pegaso or andrea websites, but searched historex for \'sharpe\' and \'95th\' and got a few hits,

this one seems to have the most potential, although this guy is painted with too blonde a mullet for my tastes:

LINK TO SHARPE

you have to paint it yourself mate so the hair colour/tone on the displaymodel doesn\'t matter.

And that particular piece now resides in my house, one of only Two pieces painted by someone other than me. <smug and happy mode>
