how would one go about painting a head so that it looks like its shaved???

Well, if it\'s freshly shaved, then just paint it skintone.
If you want shadow, do like beard shadow: thin blue-gray glaze followed by flesh glaze.

I use very thin washes of the skintone mixed with some shadow grey, scorched brown and black

What? by actually having a bird poop on a minis head for comparison? Or having a bird poop on your head and taking a picture? That would be the hard way.:drool:

thanks guys i tried the grey with a thin wash of the flesh tone... looks great (atleast i think so )

@Wolf Fang - looks good, kind of like he has shaven his head recently with his head having less of a tan than his face
