Shawshank in a minute

I\'m impressed, they really did pretty get pretty much the whole movie in there. I wish these guys could do a whole bunch of movies. Books even! Then I\'d have so much more time to paint minis. ;->

I\'ve never seen the movie, but I read the novella on which it\'s based in college way before the movie even came out. It\'s full title was \"Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption.\" Good story.

:duh:

Definately good but, err, it\'s two and a half minutes long! It\'s not quite as good as the Star Wars Gangsta Rap though I don\'t think. Morgan\'s flow\'s cool but not a patch on Yoda\'s!

Read Richard Armour\'s Twisted Tales of Shakespeare and you won\'t have to slog through any of the Bard.
The Reduced Shakespeare Company used to be pretty good for this sort of thing - I seem to recall them doing an American Football sketch using Shakespeare\'s various kings and a safe-sex rap from Romeo and Juliet too.

A shame because I think that half the enjoyment of Shakespeare is the complexity and usage of the language.
Although to each their own. *Shrugs*

It was a joke, Mike.
Seriously, read Twisted Tales of Shakespeare. Of course to get most of the humor you have to have read or seen most of Shakespeare\'s plays anyway.

Actually, a teacher of mine once said you should NEVER read Shakespeare\'s plays. He never meant for people to read them, but to see them.

I\'d agree totally with your teacher. I don\'t know off the top of my head anyone who writes a script for a play or a film where the intention is to read it rather than for it to be acted out.

Funny, I found the exact same video on my own 2 days ago. Guess it\'s all over.

Nice video.

I like the Sherlock one too. Wat-son!
