Shipping to Italy

Hey all,

I love these forums. They are my go-to place whenever I have a random question to ask, for example the following:

I\'m shipping a mini to Italy (from California) after an Ebay auction and have a question for those of you who have sent/recieved minis to/in Europe. I calculated the shipping through Ebay and it says I can send it via letter post and parcel post. Is this true? Can I send a mini-sized fat envelope via letter post? The price difference is about $8, which is quite substantial. If I can save my buyer some money I\'d rather go with that, but I don\'t want to be stuck paying the extra when I go to the post office.

Saving money is fine exept when it\'s a painted figure. I\'m sure in that case your customer would rather have an intact paint job.
If this sale is for a painted figure you would be far better off sending it in a securely wrapped parcel. Much better chance of it arriving intact.
