Okee, dokee, boys and girls, more fanboy-ism on my part.

This one is a 4 minute send up of sculpting maestro, Robert \"Bob\" Ridolfi, who has been sculpting fantasy, sci-fi, and horror miniatures since the 1970s. Bob is known for blending a bit of \"spooky and creepy\" into the putty of his greens.

meaning of \"shock the monkey\"

@ No Such Agency: yes. The song has a \"disturbing\" feel to it, which I thought matched many of Mr. Ridolfi\'s sculpts (in a good way, obviously).

I read somewhere that when \"Shock the Monkey\" debuted in 1982, there was nothing like it on the radio then or before and was allegedly responsible for inspiring the \'cult\' twist to the new age music genre.

Bless you for slowing down the credits .... such a much easier read :) and I like the gargoyle that jumps out at the end... nice touch

...yes, but I\'m the queen fan of \"credits\"...

@ freakinacage: I\'m one of those strange folks who has always been intrigued by the credits of movies, and likes to read through them at the end of films. I find it fascinating and impressive how many people and how much talent is actually required to create a piece of video art.

....but I could tone it down a bit on the next video, true .... :rolleyes:

@wiccanpony: whew. thanks. I had made a point to slow down the credit roll in producing the video, but after uploading it to YouTube ---and watching it there--- it seemed still too fast. ...At least it was improved noticeably, if not perfect.

...lots of other little overlooked distracting \'nits\' became apparent when looking at it via YouTube . I\'ll chase some of those in a future video.

Always liked that song, but I\'ve done way more shocking things with my monkey... err... :drunk:

Nice video all in all. I noticed in your credit listing you did not indicate the caterer. Shameful of you to miss this very important cog in the video wheel.

@ MPJ: But I listed the caterer in the other video, ....and even mentioned they deliver! (I am thinking my \'credits\' are getting too long.) lol
