Hmmm..I\'ll have to look in on your guy next time I\'m in New Hampshire..perhaps in November...

Time to get some ink done, it is...

Sure thing MB, if you can send me the design and dates, I can make sure you get an appointment with him during that time.

I know I\'m planning on getting my 4th done before then, :)

Ink\'s addictive.

All five of mine mark the passing of very significant times in my life, reminders of sorts as to who I was at those times.

Back, right shoulder blade, age 24:

Left shoulder, age 25:

Left pectoral, over heart: age 26

Right arm, age 29:

The second, third and fifth are solely my own design; I drew the first and had it cleaned up by my best friend, and he did the fourth. He\'s an extremely talented artist who graduated from Parsons in NYC, which explains why those two are undoubtedly the best. ;) But drawing them myself was a very important component of the process and their meaning, so I\'m fine with the fact that I\'m an inferior graphic designer. I had my buddy adapt the fourth from a piece of artwork he\'d done for me as a gift several years prior, so that was the one exception. The scorpion and the barbed wire with the sigils were done exactly as I\'d drawn them; the tattoo artist fucked up the gargoyle, though not too much, actually. But the friend who did the the work on the wire-and-sigils is eventually going to do some clean-up work for me, first on the gargoyle, and then making some improvements on the scorpion as well.

Most definitely. The first was supposed to be my \"only,\" and each one after that was supposed to be my \"last.\" Heh, shows how well those plans worked out! I don\'t have any intentions or designs for another worked out just yet... but as I said, mine mark life occasions, so we\'ll see what else life puts in my path. ;)

Well here are my Tatts. I have 4 in all. At the moment. :D

The 1st I got is on my Left arm and is the Deaths Head Tattoo that is found on Boba Fetts left shoulder armour.

The 2nd I got is on my left forarm and is the Chinese wrighting, meaning Live for Today. I got this at a dificult time in my life and it has a lot of personal meaning. The photo sucks, for some reason I could not get a good photo of it.

The 3rd Tatt that I got is the colored Ying/Yang and is on my left pectoral. It was kinda a spur of the moment thing, but it still has personal meaning to me.

The 4th tatt is on my right upper arm and is of a Chinese Dragon.

I thought you were older ???
No, I\'m 30 now, just haven\'t gotten the ink as yet due to aforementioned design holdups.

No ink for me, but I do have \'lead\'. I\'ve got a piece of a lead pencil at the back of my throat thats been there since 2nd grade. Thats why you don\'t put a sharpened pencil in your mouth, pointy side first.

This is bound to get the \"I can\'t believe any male manages to reach adulthood because they\'re all so stupid before they get there\" lines going....

So, I\'ll start it before a woman does. :D

OK let me put the woman thing to rest... Vike I have a piece of lead in my knee from long ago you are not alone.
Galante You are wise beyond your years and quick on the draw.
EDIT yes I have the finger tatt and it insured me that from the pain I would avoid all future marks ever. Birth was easier.. Really. Maybe I am a wuss but fingers hurt like heck. He told me it would tweak a bit ..I darn near broke his hand when getting it. Had to grab something he looked like a good target.

It wouldn\'t surprise me to know the finger tats hurt like hell -- the more meat between the needle and the bone, the easier it is to take... and there ain\'t too much meat around the finger bone! From my experience:

Left shoulder, and right bicep/tricep = Like nothing (relatively speaking) over the muscles.
Each shoulder blade on back = Meh, no big deal.
Left pectoral over ribs and the sternum = Won\'t repeat anytime soon!

Stomach = Fine
Lower back = Little tense!
Spine = Owwie!!!!!!!!!

My sister in law had one put on her ankle bone, then swore off ever getting another tattoo. Though it really varies from person to person and skin types.
I was warned there are a lot of nerve endings right around the belly button, and stomach tatts have made big men cry, yet that didnt phaze me half as much as when he tattooed my spine.

tats hurt...and I dislike pain of any kind, so none for me thankyouverymuch:p
i think that there is only supposed to be one with an eye. i think the blind one is supposed to signify something - the astronomicon or something

Well It could be worse. Just make sure it\'s covered up when you\'re in the Bigg Market, Friday or Saturday night. ;)

I\'ve no paint of my own, never found the right Dragon to tempt me.

Not forgetting Sunday, Monday, and Thursday now that I\'m a full time student again!

Wiccanpony - I can\'t remember the specifics, but it\'s only supposed to have one eye.

As for the pain, it did sting a little, but I didn\'t consider it \"painful\" until about ten minutes from the end when I started thinking about blood infections :|~ that amplified the pain quite a lot.

No tattoos...

...but Grumb teases me about getting a belly button ring. I have enough marks on my body from the kids that I definitely don\'t need to add to them! :D

I do wish there were good looking temporary tattoos (with color, not henna). I\'ve thought about doing a mini with a tattoo on her back and then thought about doing the same tattoo on my back, but there\'s no way I could unless it was temporary.

If anyone out there ever creates/does something like that they could probably make a fortune off of us wusses that don\'t want a permanent tat!
