That is a beautiful job. I love this company...the minis are so elegant. So go ahead and brag..it is well deserved.

Wow nice mini. does have a small resemblance to the st celestine mini.

Edit: hadn\'t seeen corvus\' post, but at least I know I\'m not mad thinking it looks a bit like st celestine :p

Nice mini, though there\'s a hell of a lot of these floating saint type models knocking around these days. As I say, nice figure, just not terribly original.

I will acquire it and paint it. I don\'t know much warmachine fluff; but isn\'t menoth pretty fanatical too, re: the likeness to celestine.

Yes Philologus,

Menoth are religous zealots. Having recently broken from their original country, they now seek to take over their former nation (and others) in the name of God. Sounds an awful lot like the real world. lol

and in mine, that\'s a damn silly mini.
It looks like a bunch of heavily bandaged monks (guess they keep slipping with the chains) are trying to keep their saint from being lifted to heaven.
That or it\'s the fairytale \"the Light Princess\" by George MacDonald.\"

And I thought GW had the trademark on ridiculously over-large shoulder pads. Her whole arm is swallowed by one of those - heck, her legs would fit inside.

Spectacular paintjob though.

I think their sculpts are beautiful, but most of their line is un-original. Have you seen their Satyx raiders? Can anyone say Horny Witchelves? Their necrosurgeon looks like a long lost cousin of the Dark Age Grafter. Don\'t get me wrong, I love their stuff, it\'s just that very few pieces are unique looking.

oh... except for the bone chickens, they\'re pretty original I think. Damn ugly too! To bad I play Cryx \'cause I gotta paint models I don\'t really care for, but the rest are cool. Undead are da bomb! :D

Editted: @Corvus - given their running record I\'d say around 2007!

Seriously, though I think the sculpt is brilliant, but I\'m not too keen on the huge shoulder pads, I think they should definatly be smaller, or not there at all!

Beautiful paintjob! Not sure about the shoulder-pads, but I do love the flowing fabric. Would consider using a similar theme on a different mini...hmmm got me thinking now!

Heh...seeing as the Warmachine lead designer had a huge Dark Elf army at one time with a whole lot of witch elves in it, I\'m not entirely surprised. ;)

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I\'m also not a big fan of shoulder pads (except smaller ones in sports coats), but the paint job looks great.

just some background info for it.

the harbinger is in constant rapture with menoth (diety) she is always floating around but not normally with handlers, i\'m not sure what their purpose is, possibly choir (protection) or just to keep her going the right way.
she blindfolds herself, probably to keep distractions to a min, but there are other rumours. (like hiding the fact shes corrupted by turok and doesn\'t want anyone to see her balefull green eyes! :) )

the mini is on the large 50mm base so would be taller by about half again over a juggernaught.

matt reckons he\'s been designing the peice since before prime was out. it being a bit of a master peice and needing a lot of work to get right.
the peice count was 14 last i heard

and apotheosis is coming out in august and with only 20 SKUs in it i would hazard it will difinatly be ready to buy well before christmass. (rumor has PP will realease a new faction before then also)
i think you guys will definately like it. it being aimed squarely at the people able to make use of challanging minis.


and i guess as a fanboi i have to point out that she bears the same resemblance to celestine as say conan to a dwarf slayer. which is to say they both got swords.
i dare say PP will get lots of flack for making minis that are \"rip offs\" of other mini companies but this is pretty unfair. they have their own style and frankly who is making actual unique minis these days?
