Thanks krule added some greens back in so other purples color traditions being its a small commission I've been told adamantly to keep the horns brown which sucks cause I wanted bone going in brown. It's for an 11year old but his father is getting it for a gift and is one of those know it alls so I didn't bother with the whole explanation ... What a pee pee head! Lol. And he wanted weathering so I at least got to add that.

Okay folks what this miniature was an exercise in is 2 things ,1 to reafirm my practice and understanding g of the "stop sign rule" you see all these things have been practiced from diamond patterns to osl etc...and overtime we seem to lose grips of how well we o center knew some thing ..so every model weather for competition or commission are for one thing and this I stand behind...each one is painted for practice....when you paint a model as an effort of getting your skills better...what happens is just that so aging this is for 1 highlight and shadow placement through the stop sign rule and second I will be practicing -object
T source lighting -from the orb made of wyrdstOne..this time it will be subtle but your all going to see exactly what the source lighting of lighting is coming from -the orb- and how the osl is stronger radiating at the point very closest to the point of the object radiating and then becoming less of a glow as we move away and the emanating light will diffuse as the surfaces become farther away from the point of emination..

Thanks epic ter oist....golden...yeah oist I remember them during the 90s..although the model then really didn't do much for me..this grey seer is probably 1 of the only ones I like which helps being it's a commission ...or else Ide still probaby not want to paint it.

I had this bell-thing... I remember painting on it forever and ever. I have no idea if I ever finished the freaking thing. Was a pretty neat model, at least to that day's standard. The rest of my skaven came out of Warhammer Quest or Advanced Heroquest, can't remember which.

I think that this is BS, there is a infinite amount of ways to die. But who cares the result is the same.

Heroquest was my gateway drug to miniatures, roleplaying and everything! Also the first thing I painted. A friend of mine had some hobby paints, some really glossy acrylics, so we painted the minis with that. They were awful, but we were pretty happy. I still have some of them, though some were repainted with Citadel colors a few years later. I also had Talisman, the plastics in there were great for the time. Painted most of the heroes, they were the top of my work back then. Still have them in my attic.
