These are bad pics again as jannie baby is cooking for the eve!!! Krampus comes to my house I'm gonna chain his ass up and make him our slave... Goddamned Christmas devils for a moment there thought they were talking bout my ex mother In law wanna talk Christmas devils!! Pheeeww. Anyways I give you the latest on my pirate from Portugal . Again I'm am well aware these pictures are comparable to a ten year old girl taking pics with her kiddie cam at her tea party with imaginary friends. Please be kind. MERRY CHRISTMAS !!! Loving all that woodwork! Will you hang a treasure map with a big red cross on the free wall at which the pirate seems to be staring?? No... don't do it, your work is on more the serious side and it won't be a nice addition me thinks... xD

Not sure how you can get baked and still paint that little eyeball-crown-wearing-mother-sucker. He would haunt my dreams.

Sterling paints, though, as always.

Here I started to layout the ground work I'm thickening out the ships deck with a ladder obviously and2 barrels of grog a treasure chest on too a bottle of spilled grog on the floor at his feet behind him a bucket if blood and a sponge (cut down and made to look like a swab sponge) and another bottle if grog or rum under the wood side. Of gotten all these things from model shipyard(a boat model co. And bayardi meynard. Any questions feel free stil trying to figure out where the chain is going.

Why a bucket of blood? Seems an odd addition. I could understand a bucket with water and the slightly bloody sponge where some deckhand has started cleaning up...

Started cleaning hmmm I'm thinking between the after battle in a dark wooden mud strewn ship what color would you expect think bout it your perception I think is far from what I'm envisioning which is cool it is an open interpretation so many variables like maybe the deckhand is cleaning a big splash of blood and entrails and that left it dark bloodied and the like think bout the prostrate himself with all the blood and stains this is def after a board after a long drawn out fight and now that he and his men claimed the vessel maybe he's having it spotless to sell for a highest bid. Not so odd anymore is it ;)
