Thanks all lost ill write up the recipe tonight.
mae. The green osl has just the green without the glow once I'm further Ali g on the shaman ill go back. Sticking close to the box art so it's def staying. I promise itl be wonderful. Eyes like all the others it's probably tougher to see on the shaman but they all have rosy flesh knocked back with red glazes as for the shamans bug eyes he still hasn't had the glazes on yet. So keep your peepers close by as I can assure you all these will be some of my best for crystal. ;)

Thank you guys...hairster,sicks,bleeds , and TER!!! You all da goods!!!
THE LOST.- recipe for metal......base coat -bolt gun metal or leadbelcher
shade 1- null oil plus black paint wash....
step 2- scorched brown in recesses and on various random parts of the metal.
step3-bestial brown in recesses and on the various parts of metal where the scorched brown has been applied.
step4- vermin brown applied the same way as the previous Browns -in the recesses and on the various parts where the other Browns were applied.
pick out the edge highlights only with mithril silver
apply Vallejo pure silver on the edge highlights
apply white mixed with Mithril silver on the highlights of the edges .

keep in mind with this technique your only applying the highlights on the edges of the metal work...

now - when all that's done add scratches- very thin and tight
then glaze the entire area with a grad earthshade mixed with lahmian medium only as GW washes need to be thinned only with lahmian medium.

lasly- apply haw torquoise on reandom various parts of the metal.

Thanks a lot BAM! Question though, with the successive layers of brown, do you cover less of the previous brown when you use a brighter..in essence, when I apply bestial brown on the scorched brown, do I cover all the scorched brown or some of it?

Thanks again good sir, I didn't realize GW paints could look so great! But then again, you are using their old line of paints which were, INMHO WAY better than their new stuff. Thanks again!! :)

Make it random n some cover the whole thing ,on others just half or so...the more random the better just dilute ,whisk away the excess and dab .....you can't do it wrong you'll see.;)

almost forgot when adding the hawk tortoise don't forget to add patches of blood for the blood God mixed with a lil black paint make two pools one diluted and one thick and dab them on at random spots as well....;)
