Holy crap, those are freakin' cool.

I've not been paying attention to anything GW for quite some time, so first of all the minis are excellent...but what you've done with them makes me clap with joy!!

Thanks all guys,Octavian ..yeah bud it's there orange in the eyes from the flames,and on the left side there as well towards the top jaw. Again though the uneven light isn't really picking up the right... uggghhhhh I really want anew light set up but my woman will have my hide.

Those orruks/orcs are looking amazing, BAM. The base concepts is great; I think you've really shown the figures off nicely. Excellent work, as always!

Next up A grot tank- here goes ill will now give myself a day to think bout it plan it out and start the waaaghmachine. LOOTED OFCOURSE!!!stay tuned.

BTW everybody who has responded to my thread you guys are great!!! Golden as golden gets. And if you want to know why I STARTED SAYING GOLDEN- MY FAV MOVIE IS "the outsiders" it's what Johnny says to pony boy.

Loving the "Orruks" BaM! They are a great set of figures and you have really done them justice.

Started the grot tank I was feeling brave enough to do some illustrative freehand work.the only thing I really know a bit a bit more than anything else. When I'm venturing fourth on freehand more illustrative type I will do what I did when starting to get better the only way I know. When I started out I just painted green skins . I've learned everything I could bout the color green ,(BIG THANKS TO DRAGONSREACH FOR POINTING ME IN THE DIRECTION) it's compliments etc. after a while I became known for my orks, goblins etc. I learned how to blend and other techniques just using greens reds purples etc. after I got the hang of this I ventured out and now I can pretty much paint any and everything. So my point is the same thing with freehand . I can paint "EVIL SUNS" pretty decent. Not the best but I can make it look adequate. So my freehand or anytime I try something ill keep refining my evil suns motif. This will give me practice, control (getting used to paint or illustrate with a very light pressure etc). Ill be showing everybody how the grot tank is coming. You never know but maybe this will help others out there who would like to do illustrative, pattern, ,effect type freehand in their future.

Looks really nice BaM - the freehand really lifts it. Only thing that bothers me is the stripes on the bottom pic - they're not parallel and it really stands out vs the other side.
