Guys a few questions came up how I get a steady style of painting across my models and I owe it to 5 layers of contrast again using as many or all on each model gives a nice pop to the minis and always has then at the best aesthetics when one is viewing a model. They are and sometime there are 6 so 1) alternating dark and light colors on a model,) complimentary colors on the wheel,2) warm vs cool which can be worked into your model when using those complimentary colors etc,4) gloss(shiny) vs flat , 5) works hand in hand with (4) metals and clothing,5) textures (leather ,weathering, scratches, blood etc.) try em out if anything use those first three.
Only diff is that I like a desaturated color palette you can either look for your colors through the extensive paint ranges out there or you can start from scratch using your 3 primary colors and adding to them (black [ in small amounts],white,or grey.
