My friend loved his tabletop maggoth lord! My current rank on putty and paint has been higher than previous and now have my top artists rank at #174/267/650 so today I'm 174 and climbing . Also working diligently to appear in visions BFOK was right they lived and requested more pics of the "blight kings" and there are a few more pics of my work as Dan from white dwarf put it "under the heading of visions" as Dan sayid hmm "what could that mean" rhetorical questions. Looks like again evidence of visions. Ill know more when he knows which issues.and here is what I'm currently working on ... Yes it's a nurgle..View attachment 32822

You say it's a technical paint. Does that mean its different from normal paints. Like is it more tacky/sticky?

It is a bit transparent, and quite glossy. I don't really think it differs much from regular paint in consistency, but I haven't reflected much upon it since I use it in a completely different manner. I like it a lot.

Blood for the blood god/for blood effects, typhus corrosion/is for corrosive effects , a blue green which name escapes me for a moment is for oxidation of bronze and metals, riza rust is for you guessed it rust effects. So by GW definition I feel the term technical paints refer to a specific job ,Iow the technical paints are specifically formulated for a certain job. Yeah teronus I finished the other one and was given to a friend who does quite alot for me. REMEBER guys I'm disabled so all my time is given to my painting.:) at least I still have that

Here you can see the technical paints at work. I've used the blood for the blood god on his bloody bits and entrails. I have tons of bottles of it. Every artist should have them . They're amazing. Next up ill be doing my tmm weathered armor techniques. After its done I will show you what technical paints I've used for the armor as well.
stay tuned folks.

Okay folks here you see the armor on his front chest and belly as well as his shoulder plates have been touched off with a very sharp silver valleo game color pure silver the brightest I've worked with. Great for edge highlighting and scratches its the pigmented with rust powders from MIG and then finished off with nickala oxide(technical paint from GW that's used for oxidation, verdigris, patina etc.) also I've some typhus corrosion in random spots. This is then toned down with a red/agrax earthshade glaze. Then gloss varnish is painted onto the armor. It's quite a but of steps but its done very fast as my technique for weathered metals/armor never changes and I know it. Like the back of my hand.next armor on the leggings.stay tuned folks.

Dude I totally love it!!! It is definitely at least a bronze on P&P. More likely a silver or gold though. Man I learn so much from watching your weathering techniques. Keep it up and keep on with those descriptions on how you do things. People like myself learn so much from you. Voting now on all ...

Oh and I meant to add...do you Blood for the Blood God as your primary source for blood? I recently found that it's a good idea to use that, of course, but also to combine it. I think it's a Secret Weapon paint, but I have this stuff called dried blood. Lately I apply this as my base layer, maybe even glaze some black into it, and then add the Blood God stuff from Citadel. I am going to end up putting this on the axe of my current project, so when this is done you'll have a better idea of what I mean. Your blood is always another excellent piece of weathering that you do, just wanted to give you another tool for the tool box
