Hey BAM love all the work you've completed over the months. In reference to your current topic, and coming to it as someone who isn't exactly the most active member of these forums, I just wouldn't worry about it. Partly it depends how you view these forums. For example I use them to try and force myself to paint otherwise I'll leave it months at a time....posting wips helps me see if I'm actually doing anything.

Getting comments is like a bonus, I don't get loads but appreciate when I do (including your good self, cheers).
When I was little my mum always said i should never expect things like birthday or Christmas presents...now I'm not sure if that was just her way of saying be ready for disappointment haha but basically it did stick with me. Be thankful for what you get, don't worry about not getting comments or feedback from everyone. The hobby is about having fun at the end of the day.

We don't know how busy others are, if they are a bit shy, intimidated or think they don't have enough knowledge to comment...it's not for everyone. Plus I guess at the end of the day no one is under contract to comment on anything, and rightly so. C

Carry on turning out your wonderful pieces of art and being yourself, and try not to worry about the other stuff. That's my thoughts, sorry if I went on man.

I should've added, I don't comment on half the things I should do or would like to...due to a number of reasons. Though mostly due to time. So I get what you mean, but I do expect if I don't comment much I in turn won't get a load and that's fine

I appreciate your time to have taken to comment my friend sigmar. Again though if I see folks have been active in others and it’s been months in mine it’s about doing the right thing. Look at the facts about what I have said. It is easy to draw your own conclusion. I would appreciate it more if youde keep an open mind about what I’m seeing. I’ve always felt this way . It’s in my description . Again it’s about doing what is right. Not having an elitist attitude and not about having cliques like we had in grammar school. Bottom line.as I’ve said and I stand by it, it’s not about time as some folks are always in and comment on many others. Against those that I see haven’t commented in up to two months in addition to that there are some that haven’t up to six months. Again I’m an upfront guy and I stand behind my conviction. No ones going to tell me different as this is instilled in my beliefs and beliefs are a whole diff thing. It’s based on what I see and what I know . It’s plain rude , egotistical and I know exactly why it’s being done. However I do thank you for your input sigmar. I’ve always liked you, respected your work and admire you as an individual. Your not in a lot at all and I get that. That is NOT the case of others in question. Again it’s also been seen by two others of our friends and reinforced my beliefs why. Thank you much bud for your input.

Update at jannies show a woman was doing lighting on her booth, and 400 pounds of high grade steel reinforced spotlighting fell from the top of a 70 foot steel girder ceiling and just brushed against her hair. Guys think abou this 400 pounds . If she had been a fraction of and inch over.....SPLATTT . No really think bout this. This was the biggest piece of equipment ide have ever seen almost squash somebody.

That's scary stuff, glad everyone's alright. I hope the rest of the show was a success, though.

I'm very intrigued by this dio, I know next to nothing about the fluff around Blood Bowl, but based on playing the video game a bit, I bet it will be hilariously awesome.

Glad everone is ok. I can't recall he number of near misses I have seen in the plant over the past 26 years were a few inces made the difference between holy crap and a very serius injury. That is part of the reason I finally changed roles last year as it was getting stressful being responsible for keeping everone safe.

I would gladly have boxed that light away from that woman if I saw it. Muh uckas weren’t built like this in the ring at 5’8.5 and 236 pounds pic take 7years ago before.View attachment 64271

206? Dayum, at that age you indeed have the right to reminisce...

Although I am confronted with my age more than I'd like as well. Got a lot of colleagues in the mid- to late twenties who stare at me dumbfounded when I say stuff like. I remember this when... and talk about something happening in 2010, or 2001, etc... There's always a mental click inside my head that goes 'Daymn! That was 10 years ago...already! Or damn near 20 years ago, ffs...' ANd then there's a silent look of comprehension when I deduct the age of my memory from their age and we both realise they were just tiny younglings at the time...

Immortality for all!
