It's the only one I voted for, I am looking at entries now... WTF how can you compete with that! Need extra extra cream!!! Well at least it gives me a hint on what I have to do for next year !

. Voted. Without a doubt they were the best looking squad in the cabinet. But WOW, those dioramas in the first cabinet were so good I almost cried. I thought the chibi category was pretty week this year, but everything else was very cool.
BTW, I didn't see your vampire bust (unless it was in front of the guy taking picture who was bigger than me and wouldn't move). Sorry I missed you so far.

Well tanks guys- what I can say is I seen a lot of political BS going on. THIS TIME I MADE A BIT OF A SCENE-I called them in it right while I saw it take place. What happened was there were supposed to be 5 judges out of those advertised - Jen Haley , and Jose Manuel palomares- DID NOT JUDGE. They weren’t even around. Their supposed to take the models out of the case and scrutinise them. Well I CAUGHT FARABI GO TO THE CASE PICK WITH HIS FINGER AND SAID- uno,due, tre. Without going thru them and scoring each part of the list of criteria. Ok so once I saw that I yelled at him and made him look like such a fool in front of everyone. Grabbed jen(WHO KNEW I SAW HIM ) and the let her have it too.they were like a deer in headlights. It was greeeat!!! So all I really had to mark my work was JAMES CRAIG. He’s an amazing guy. He had me voted as second place among the units. Matt dipietro, and other judges fro gen con mark maxley Etc pick mine to round out the top two vs Steve Garcia. The skeltons unit were great (BUT ONLY THE SWORDS WERE REALLY WELL DINE. The bases were dry brushed and most of the cloth and bearskin were flat-IRL. The swamp hag-had no depth and also appears flat- rem IRL these don’t look this way they are photoshopped heavily and some more than others. I DO BELIEVE I SHOULD HAVE OLACED- I beat everything hands down except for Steve Garcia’s nomads.
Crystal brush will no longer get my money . The reason- they had a dinner last night and wanted to know what they should change going forward- however when I told them what I saw they began to reach for things to say like “oh farabi was picking sub finalist categories- we all make bets on what we think we’ll pick for best bright colors etc etc- CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT BULLSHIT LIE IS HOW THEY JUSTIFIED IT!!!:/

Sorry you had such a hard time at the comp. I’ve never competed so I don’t really understand the scene, but it’s not the first time I’ve heard complaints about how they are run.
You certainly had some tough competition. The sepulchral guard look pretty solid in the photos, but in my opinion the nomads (which are undoubtedly technically excellent) and the Death Guard (which are very BaM-esque) are your biggest challengers.
It’s nice to see the Blue Chips with the promo photos.

Voted on every category and entry. (Pity young talents was empty) I do not need for decimals, I just levelled up my regular "exigence level" and suited it to each entry group. In that way I've been able to vote between 6 and 10 loosing the need for decimals. On the other hand almost all entries once in the Cmon regular gallery would almost get only 9 to 10's and some lonely 8 here and there.
I agree with @Sicks that the level on the chibi miniatures was quite low compared to other categories (except for a couple of them) I also saw a chibi dog went to other category... not sure why.
I obviously voted 10 for your blue chips, but I don't think the pictures in the gallery make them justice, while other entries have very good close ups were you can appreciate the detail and the brushwork perfectly, your blue chips just got half way closeups and blurried mates on the back, so you can't really see all the work that they have, and that I have seen on this thread ;(
On other things... The most spectacular category for me, was the diorama category. I've got 4 favourites there (problem is that I think the other entries are quite low in comparison). Also the fantasy/steampunk singles have terrific entries, being Slambolicious a feast of both NMM and OSL.

Lololol I was wondering who was gonna catch the way they hurt my internet votes too- not only low sharpness and cannot are the back row of the first half rear rank. But they also gave me two of al OST the same shot again where griff and zig are clear but that’s it. Combine this with the whole first shot blurred group- and now I only have 2 pics with semi clear parts. Unbelievable. Their gonna hear that too. I’m NOT DONE WITH THESE PRICKS YET!!!

That was a major issue with the pictures of most of the squad/group entries, thrones that put a big display stand too became lost in the photos, there were a few like yours where not having put a scenic base helped in the photos but each of yours deserved an individual photo of each mini. Sorry you had a bad time of it there mate, I know how much you Lok forward to CB each year

Good news I’ve been picked as the second place overall unit winner -including Francesco farabi- he climbed mine was DISPLAY LEVEL WIRK- others including the nomads were high end gaming work. Now all I need is the votes to go my way- as for the judges if they were judging alone ide have placed-2nd-silver brush-thank you
